Roses are red..

I have never 

received a flower

or even a rose

But I'm a guy 

so it's acceptable 

I guess

no surprises

no treats 

no kisses

that signifies 

one's feelings for me

no token of one's love

but I've gotten 

disappointment

watered with hate

and planted in betrayal

fertilized by the lies

and maintained by the fakes

Actually, roses are red

but mine is dead

and crumbled beneath my feet.

the sun and the stars..

The sun 

gets jealous

of the moon's stars?

Never seeing that 

she is the biggest

of them all

the only one 

the moon adores.

I disappear from this world

my existence has returned to dust

scatter me in the night sky

submerge me with the stars

So I will lay down on the cosy heaven

gazing down on you

you'll make the earth so fine

even the stars will be in love with you.

As the colors explode

on the pitch dark sky

lights begin crawling 

in my gazing eyes

I look out of the window

and realize

everything was temporary

and it is only me

by my side

Like how fast it goes

a year has gone

embracing myself 

for the new chapter

that has come.

If I could wake up tomorrow

And be someone new

I'd hope to be someone

that didn't care about you.

A person who wakes up 

and smiles at the sun

not a loner

who hides from fun.

Someone who looks in the mirror 

and values himself

not insecure

loathing themself.

I wish to be someone

free as a bird

not someone who cares

what others have heard.

But when I wake up

I will still be me

hoping and wishing

oneday I'll be free.
